Dr. Harter received her undergraduate degree in nutritional science from the University of Minnesota. She earned an additional bachelor of arts degree in visual science, as well as a doctorate degree in optometry, from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Harter specializes in primary eye care, as well as contact lenses, ocular disease, and surgical co-management. She has lectured locally and is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Minnesota Optometric Association, where she serves on the Education Committee.
