The qualified candidate will have at least one year of experience and hold current COA, COT or COMT certification. Excellent retinoscopy/refractometry skills desired.
Duties include: patient histories and workups and comprehensive diagnostic testing including refractometry, tonometry, keratometry, biomicroscopy, A-scans, pachymetry, photography, visual fields, BATs, PAMs, GDX, corneal topography, microscopy and other tests as directed. This position may assist with minor surgical procedures and serve as first assistant in surgery as required.
Candidate must be open to traveling to other metro locations if needed. Travel time and mileage may be reimbursed.

Patient Care Coordinator
Status: Full Time, 40 hours/week
Duties include: Ensuring thorough patient education and counseling for laser and surgical procedures, scheduling laser and surgical cases, coordinating overall laser/surgical process in accordance with policies and procedures and monitoring customer service and quality of care for laser/surgical patients.

Candidate will design and help implement functional processes for data collection, data management and reporting using industry standards, methods and statistics while ensuring integrity of data by conducting audits and working closely with staff and physicians to advance compliance. Candidate will also serve as HIPAA compliance officer for the organization
