"Dear Dr. Lindstrom,
My father recalls 1948 as one of the saddest years of his adult life. It was in that year that he and my mother realized that there was something wrong with my eyes. I was only eighteen months old when I began wearing glasses. My parents scrimped and saved for two eye operations that insurance didn't cover — one at age three and one at age eight. Neither operation appeared to correct the problem. So for the past 52 years I've worn corrective "coke bottle" lenses......Fast forward to the summer of the year 2000 and the magic hands of Dr. Richard Lindstrom and two miracle surgeries called "clear lens extractions".
I want to recognize Terri's helpfulness as she coordinated my two surgeries knowing I had a distance to travel and a teaching position that made scheduling difficult. I appreciate the patience and friendliness of your front desk staff who really care about individual needs.
