Please join us in welcoming Dr. Bryan Lee to Minnesota Eye Consultants. Dr. Lee specializes in cornea, external disease, anterior segment, and cataract, refractive and laser surgery.

Dr. Lee obtained his degree in Biochemical Sciences magna cum laude from Harvard College before attending both medical and law schools. He received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Harvard Law School and is a member of the Massachusetts bar. He also went to Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine on a full merit scholarship. As a medical student, Dr. Lee was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in the first round of voting and received the Maxwell Grand Prize for Excellence in Ophthalmology.

He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University, where he was awarded the Walter J. Stark Research Grant Award and the Oliver Schein Research Grant Award.  Dr. Lee served for three years on the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons Executive Board and also wrote columns for Ophthalmology Times.

Dr. Lee is active in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has published in the medical, legal, and health policy literature. He formerly worked at Sports Illustrated and still enjoys sports, reading biographies, and travel.
