Marlane Brown, O.D.Marlane J. Brown, OD, joined Minnesota Eye Consultants, P.A. in 1994 as a contact lens specialist, working mainly with keratoconus, post penetrating keratoplasty and post refractive surgery patients. Her practice includes peri-operative care of refractive surgery, cataract and cornea patients as well as fitting the challenging corneas with contact lenses.

She is Vice President of Optometric Services at Minnesota Eye Consultants with twelve office locations and ten optometrists. She started the optometric residency at Minnesota Eye Consultants and brought it to accreditation status in 1999. Since October 2006 she has been the interim manager of the Clinical Research Department at Minnesota Eye Consultants.

Dr. Brown served on the Minnesota Board of Optometry from 1992 to 1996 and is a past president of the Minnesota Optometric Association from 1999-2000.
