Kare 11 News @ 4 recently ran a story about Dr. Thomas Samuelson and the iStent procedure. iStent treats glaucoma at the time of cataract surgery by increasing the eye’s ability to drain fluid. This technology is designed to reduce the pressure in the eye.

Our physicians are the first to perform the Glaukos iStent procedure in this market - treating open angle glaucoma at the time of cataract surgery. Thomas Samuelson, MD, was the primary investigator on the FDA trial, and has done more iStent procedures than any other surgeon in the nation.
