Please welcome Karina Bement, O.D., as Minnesota Eye Consultants’ 2023-2024 Optometric Resident. Dr. Bement (formerly Sandeen) is a Minnesota Native with a true passion for optometry.
With a wealth of clinical experience, Dr. Bement’s expertise spans various areas, including managing complex systemic and ocular diseases, delivering pre-and post-operative care, performing eye examinations, and contact lens fittings. She serves patients at our Blaine and Minnetonka locations.
Dr. Bement completed her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2023 at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, where she graduated Cum Laude. Prior to that, she achieved Summa Cum Laude honors while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Winona State University in 2018.
Outside of work, Dr. Bement enjoys outdoor activities, quilting, and knitting, and is a dedicated hockey fan. She proudly supports her alma mater, the Ferris State Bulldogs, as well as the Minnesota Wild.
