Dr. Mark Buboltz specializes in primary eye care, contact lenses, ocular disease, and surgical co-management. Originally from Redwood Falls, MN, he completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD.
Dr. Buboltz went on to receive his doctorate of optometry, graduating magna cum laude, from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Ill. While there he received awards of merit for clinical excellence and the school’s Trustee’s Scholarship. As a student, he did several clinical externships in the areas of Cornea and Contact Lens, Low Vision, Pediatrics and Advanced Care. He is a member of the American Optometric Student Association, Tomb and Key Honor Society, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Buboltz sees patients at the Phillips Eye Institute, Minnesota Eye Consultants’ Minneapolis location, with a special interest in ocular and refractive surgery management, glaucoma, and urgent care. In his free time, Dr. Buboltz enjoys fishing and hunting, playing and watching sports of many varieties, and spending time at the lake, whether frozen or thawed, with his family.
